1: I Am an Only Child
You probably already know that if you read my post about being an only child in one of my first posts...and if not, check it out HERE
2: I Am a Skater..To the Second Power
I am a roller skater AND an ice skater.
- Since my parents owned a rollerskating rink before I was born, by default I was going to be a roller-skater. I love it and it is a part of me I will not be embarrassed about. High school made it hard to be proud of this, because people like to judge those that are different than them. They changed and I definitely changed, so I am willing to let go of that bitterness and be happy about my past. The past has shaped me into the person I am today.
-Freshman year of high school, I was able to join the ice skating club in my town. Thankfully, all of my skills in rollerskating easily transferred over and therefore ice skating came very natural to me. Each Spring, the club put on a recital (still does), and I was fortunate enough to participate all four years. Although it was pretty political (as with most sports), practice was fun each week and I even got to coach the beginners the last two seasons I was in it. Below are pictures of both roller-skating and ice-skating.

3: My Love for Jesus
Jesus is so great. This year, I have grown so much in my spiritual life, it has been fantastic! It has made me realized how truly blessed I am.
Recently, I have had the ongoing opportunity to pour God's love out into a friend who previously had never heard the Gospel. I have seen her grow and learn and it has been such an amazing thing to watch unfold. God's love is power. In the process I have grown in my faith as well, and she is pushing me to learn and ask more questions.
Praise God. Last weekend (23-25th) we both attended a Navigators Conference called Main Event and were able to have discussions about God's infinite love and she made the decision to trust Jesus as her Savior. If you feel so inclined, say a quick prayer for her as she continues and walk in her new life with Christ as well as many other attendees of the conference that put their trust in the Lord. Oh God is good.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
4: I am Left- Handed

6: Personality Typing
I actually really enjoy taking personality tests whenever possible.
Below are my favorites and next to each are the top results I received.
Take one or all of them, they are pretty great!
7: Social Media and What I Use
Obviously, I love weebly.
Other than Weebly, I use Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest (lots of great boards), Instagram, and snapchat. I try to stay current on all of them, but lately I have been trying to cut down on the usage and I am failing. Comment on what else you do instead of social media and how to stay off of it!
No pets right now but we had 3 dogs (all at separate times) during my childhood:
French Sharpe: Rocky
Boxer Pitbull mutt: Sobe
A few fish here and there
Not a cat person..I repeat..NOT A CAT PERSON.
9: Major and Career Goals
I am currently working on the second year of my undergraduate degree pursuing Public Relations. I really enjoy all of my classes so far and hopefully finals go well. In the future, I am hoping that a career with a cruise line is in store for me. I was able to go on a cruise in the summer of 2014 and I thoroughly enjoyed the customer service side of the business. Respect is definitely required for all of the crew members. They did a fabulous job of keeping all of the customers happy and they always went above and beyond any expectation I ever had. I want to be a part of that amazing experience one day.
10: My Role Model
We have a great family friend who has inspired me to work hard and be successful. I admire him for his tenacity and the wonderful success he has achieved by being so fearless and hard working.
HERE is the link where the company he worked for did a spotlight on him and showed all of the great work he has done for them. Way to go John!
These have been 10 things to know me better and I hope you found some things interesting! Listen to the great songs and take a personality test! Otherwise,
Until next time,
